Handover has recently been achieved of a new primary school building as part of the Nottingham Academy site at Sneinton Boulevard, Nottingham. Betton Consulting were employed to undertake both the concept design on behalf of the client and Main Contractor (Carillion) during the early stages, following through to deliver the detailed design on behalf of the appointed M&E contractor (Playfords). The project included detailed thermal modelling to assess daylight and natural ventilation and inform the window design, and was delivered using Revit for 3D coordination and BIM compliance.
