Strange times and hopefully everyone is keeping safe and well, delighted to be able to report positive news with several new enquiries and several new appointments ranging from premium dwellings, extra and close care apartments, school and care home refurbishments and a major site incorporating 26 industrial units plus a car dealership and drive-through restaurants.

Further appointments for the client side design duties of several care homes ranging from Dorset to Scotland, alongside early-stage input to a 90-acre mixed use development, the detailed design of several further care home developments, an exciting office refurbishment project in Leeds and a distribution centre for a major online retailer mark a positive start to the year.

It’s been a busy few months, with a mixture of appointments including several new build care homes (both client side and detailed design), consulting roles and utility planning on a 500-unit housing development in Derbyshire, a major manufacturing plant in South Yorkshire and two mixed-use retail parks.

Betton Consulting have been appointed to develop the design and performance specifications for 3 new care homes schemes for an ongoing client in Exeter, Canterbury and Didcot.  Detailed design also commenced on a new 64 bed scheme in Tetbury for the installing contractor.

Busy start to the year with a mixture of school surveys, ongoing design on several care home schemes and development of several residential schemes (including a premium barn conversion development of 4 units, one off premium dwellings, a development of 8 flat units in Sydenham and a refurbishment and conversion to a pair of properties in Central London)

Rounding off the year progressing the detailed design on care home schemes in Bexhill and Oakham, development of the thermal model and planning information for a new care home in Whitstable and ongoing design works on the Northampton Museum refurbishment.

Work completed on the performance specification and tender pack for a new food store in Mansfield and a new 62 bed care home development in Scarborough, as well as ongoing design works on a 64 bed care home scheme in Newbury.

Detailed design development for the refurbishment of a large university building in the North East, handover achieved on a long running refurbishment and extension in Croydon, as well as a further appointment to develop the detailed design on another Frontier care home scheme in Watford for the installing contractor building on ongoing relationships and repeat business.

Handover achieved on a new 62 bed care home in Leatherhead for which we have developed the detailed design for the installing contractor, and work completed on new care developments in Ashford (23 beds) and Chelmsford (113 beds) ready to hit site.

Busy month with performance duties on a refurbishment and remodelling project on a convent in London, generator and boiler replacement for a hospital in Grimsby, trouble shooting long-standing issues on a care home on the south coast, production of thermal model and planning information for a new care home scheme in Totnes, as well as ongoing design works on a care home scheme in London and a Travelodge for the installing contractor, and more…!
